Future of PCs

In this post, I don't want do follow this blog's usual style. I want to talk about a subject and tell you about my opinion. I ask you to write your opinion on this topic too - as comments. I'll try to make a forum or something for this discussion, but we can can start here in this blog.

Subject : How the future of PCs would be?

I think PCs won't exist in future as are today. In the recent years, Web 2 and cloud technology have gained much popularity. I think that in future PCs would just be some kind of television. Google is going to introduce GoogleTV, which will act both as a TV and an Internet client. I think in future, we will just use some sort of television like GoogleTV to send our requests to Internet servers and they would process the requests and send us their output as data. We will only need some sort of screens to see the output. They'll be touchscreens, so that we won't need any mouse or keyboard. They'll also have communication devices to do all the communications needed. The OS will only be a professional web browser as all programs will only be cloud websites.
